At British Columbia Christian
Academy we encourage our students to strive to be positive, honest, obedient,
respectful, accountable and to maintain a consistent Christian testimony in
everything they do. Students are instructed in God's word and are challenged
to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in every area of their lives.
Ten Reasons to Send
Your Child to British Columbia Christian Academy
- All teachers are Christians
and are certified by the Ministry of Education in British Columbia
- High academic standards
are met. Test results on the Canadian Achievement Test (CAT) show that our
students score well above the public schools nationwide.
- Low student-to-teacher
ratios maximize your child's contact hours with the teacher
- We are a uniform school,
thereby relieving parents and students of the stress of conforming to the
marketing pressures within our society
- French is taught from
K-12. Subject specialists are brought in at all grade levels to teach such
specialties as Music and Drama
- Close communication
with parents is fostered to ensure accurate and ongoing reports about your
child's progress
- We have a modern computer
lab - networked to the internet
- Educational and interesting
field trips are taken
- Strong emphasis on
sport and fitness for life. Our sports program allow our students to compete
with other Christian schools in the lower Mainland
- Parental interaction
with teachers and administration is encouraged providing many opportunities
for parental involvement
